sunnyside 19th October posted by hannah
Sunnyside is nearly ready for Mab and Lou. The new bathroom is in and the decorating is finished, the floors have been sanded and varnished and the kitchen is plumbed and ready to go. We had a beautiful walk near there earlier in the week.

The rutting season was well underway at Knoll Park this afternoon. There was much strutting and braying and that was just Bethan.

lovely Lis 17th October posted by hannah
I saw my friend Lis today. She shoe-horned me into her fabulous schedule (between life-drawing and ceramics). It was fantastic to catch-up and she is as gorgeous as ever.

Londoner 16th October posted by hannah
I took Daniel with me today to visit Grandma Bat in her hospital bed. He seemed to enjoy his first experience of the big smoke, not least because it involved many red buses, quite a lot of escalators and an ice-cream. He was great company and I'm sure that he was good medicine for mum.

apples 15th October posted by hannah
Daniel and Yvonne harvested the Burgesses apples this morning, they picked a goodly number and we enjoyed the first of them stewed for tea.

who's the driver now? 14th October posted by hannah
Bethan likes tractors and trains. She can't say tractor yet so she calls them all trains, greeting a sighting of either with great shrieks of joy. I took this photo today down on the farm.

sunflower 3rd October posted by hannah
This is Daniel measuring his tallest sunflower (infact, his only sunflower as the others were eaten by slugs). It comes up to his armpit which we both thought was impressive.
